Alice Cooley is a founding Partner of the firm.
Prior to founding the firm, Ms. Cooley became associated with MacLachlan & Eagan LLP in 2008 and was associated with Eagan & Matthews PLLC until 2016. Her practice has focused on all aspects of commercial and residential real estate transactions, land use, zoning, land use litigation, civil litigation, business planning and formations, wills and trust and estates matters. Ms. Cooley has extensive experience in appearing before the numerous municipal and regulatory boards on Eastern Long Island, including the Town of East Hampton, Village of East Hampton, Village of Sagaponack, Village of Southampton, Town of Southampton, Village of North Haven and Village of Sag Harbor, as well as before the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
Ms. Cooley received a B.A., Magna Cum Laude, in English from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 2004 and a Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in 2008, where she was an associate of the Journal of Corporate, Financial and Commercial Law. While attending law school Ms. Cooley was a Carswell Scholar. She was admitted to practice in New York in 2009.
